“Sometimes history is best seen through the windows left behind by time.”
The Qutub Minar rises beyond the weathered arch of an ancient structure in Delhi, framed by stones that have witnessed centuries pass. I was drawn to the contrast between the dark, timeworn foreground and the illuminated tower beyond, using the arch as a natural frame to lead the eye towards the Minar.
For me, the frame feels like looking from one chapter of history into another. The rough texture of the old masonry gives depth and age to the photograph, while the soaring Qutub Minar beyond remains elegant and commanding, connecting layers of Delhi’s architectural past within a single composition.
