“In some landscapes, silence itself feels like a prayer.”
From Malyavantha Raghunatha Hill, I saw a lone man sitting in meditation as dusk slowly settled over the Hampi landscape. In the distance, the monsoon sky gathered with quiet intensity, while the hidden sun sent out soft rays from behind the clouds. In that moment, it felt as though the light itself had become a divine blessing, falling gently upon the land and the solitary figure.
What moved me most was the feeling of stillness in the middle of such a vast scene. The meditating figure gave the frame a sense of human presence, yet the mood remained deeply spiritual, almost timeless. Around him stretched the unmistakable Hampi terrain, with its rugged, ancient character, carrying both the power of nature and the memory of history. It was one of those moments where landscape, light and human emotion came together in perfect harmony.
